Boyan Doytchinov

Boyan rejoined Snyder Wealth Group in January of 2019 after working in Manhattan for several years. He quickly built a comprehensive financial planning process to help clients in all areas of financial planning including retirement, portfolio management, tax planning, insurance, estate planning, and cash flow management. Boyan guides clients in achieving the right balance in their portfolios and staying focused on reaching their financial goals.

Previously, Boyan was an Associate Managing Advisor at Altfest Personal Wealth Management for over four years. He worked with a variety of clients as the primary relationship and portfolio manager. Boyan mentored a team of Financial Planning Specialists, researched the small- and mid-cap investments, and managed a range of projects including the firm’s annual tax planning process.

Boyan started his career at Mark J. Snyder Financial Services in 2009. He analyzed stocks, mutual funds and other investments. He later helped guide the firm’s portfolio management strategy. In addition, he helped clients with retirement planning and other long-term financial goals.

Boyan earned a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Stony Brook University. He is a CFP® Professional and a CFA® Charterholder. Boyan is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the CFA Society of New York.

Boyan learned from Mark and Gloria about the importance of community involvement and charity. He volunteers with the Port Washington Community Chest, which partners with Island Harvest to deliver food to local food banks. Since April 2020 he has also helped local seniors with their grocery shopping. He serves on the investment committee of a non-profit organization and frequently speaks to classes at the College of Business in Stony Brook University.

In his free time, Boyan enjoys the great outdoors through biking, kayaking and skiing while also pursuing his passion for photography of nature and wildlife during his travels.
